That's before I woke up in the morning and realized I was in your bed.
Why do you have to take the satisfaction out of torturing you like that? But don't worry, I'll do everything in my power to make your life just as much of a living hell that mine is.
I'm miserable in ways I won't even share with you, even if it may increase your own suffering.
But do not doubt I will make sure your life is a living hell. You will beg for death. If I decide to go ahead with things, I will ensure you don't get to escape by dying.
Is that why you're going through with it, then? You're gonna do what you want, make sure that I'm miserable and tortured but you won't even be able to enjoy doing it. What are you getting out of it?
I honestly don’t know. I wouldn’t let you raise it- you would be a negative influence. This wasn’t in my plans and it would mean a great deal of change.
But that doesn’t mean you’re off the hook. You’re going to ensure I have everything I need.
And I don't get any say in that? You're a murderous, genocidal maniac who's main emotions are angry and angrier, and you're gonna say you being the only parental figure in the child's life won't mess it up for life?
That I'm the negative influence?
[ look, being a parent wasn't in his plans but it's his too and dammit, he would need a normal, sane parent. didn't mean they had to do the raising part together. ]
I can imagine. "No being a decent human being", "only praise the Empire, negativity will not be tolerated" and "pizza must be eaten with a fork and knife."
[ auuuuuuugh ]
Alright. I'm currently having my brain stabbed repeatedly with a hot iron, so I'll be over in a bit. I guess.
In my condition? Really? Fine, bring peanut butter if you want. And something for dinner that isn't pizza since I don't want to see you stuff food in your face.
[ about half an hour later, Bodhi is at Hux's door with a pint of ice cream, peanut butter and a bag of chips, dip and tacos (you can't eat those with a fork and knife). Looking like he can't believe his life, and seriously considering going to the Porter and begging to be sent home.
[Hux had taken a shower while he waited for Bodhi and answered the door in a black robe, holding the door open for him.
He wished that he could do this less sober but he had poured the rest of his wine down the drain. He would rather it go to waste than to offer it to Bodhi. If he had to do this sober than so did the pilot.]
If you're horrified at this situation, you're not the only one. What did you bring?
[Whatever it was smelled good and he hadn't eaten all day.]
[ Bodhi steps inside, he's never actually been inside Hux's home. It's never occurred to him that he'd be here, now. Especially not for this.
And yet here he is...
He holds up the bags of tacos procured from the fast food joint across the street. ]
Tacos. I got tacos, a couple other things. I -- horrified is a way to put it.
[ He glances at Hux, trying to see if there are any changes yet - which he can't tell due to the robe. After all, it could be a ruse to get Bodhi to his home so he could murder him again. Could be, but leaning towards 'isn't', at this point. ]
[The house is big and has a nice view of the forest outside but Hux isn't in the mood to admire the view or show Bodhi around. He noticed Bodhi looking at him, wrinkling his nose.]
Come on, follow me. I'm starving.
[He turned around to lead Bodhi to the kitchen, pausing to pick up some papers which had been left on the counter. He held them out to Bodhi.]
[ Bodhi tears his gaze away from Hux, dropping the bags on the counter and takes the offered papers. No offer to serve the food, or anything like that.
Any doubts he'd had - small as they'd been (after all what kind of joke is that?) vanish as he reads over the words.
Not much in the way of details - just dates, confirmation that he was indeed expecting. He drops into the nearest set heavily and stares at the printed words. ]
[Hux didn't hesitate to look through the bags, satisfied to find strawberry ice cream which was put in the freezer before he went to find a silverware and a plate so he could serve himself three of the tacos. He figured Bodhi could figure things out if he wanted anything.]
So we're going to have to figure this out. If I keep it I don't want this child around any of your rebel friends.
[He sat down to eat, watching Bodhi. He wouldn't say it aloud but the tacos were rather good.]
Either way, this is going to be miserable for the both of us.

So what are you intending to. Do. Other than the aforementioned "making me know the true meaning of suffering".

Anyways, flying into a murderous rage is bad for you now. Wouldn't want to exert yourself. ;)
[ eh, Hux is gonna kill him anyways. which is starting to sound more welcome by the second. ]

I think I can handle torturing and murdering you just fine.

It'd take all the fun out of it for you if I told you that I'd probably prefer the murder and torture over. This.

I at least get the satisfaction that you're just as miserable, if not more.
[ he needs a drink. or twenty. ]

Right now I want a pint of strawberry ice cream and a foot massage.

And what's wrong with eating pizza with a fork and knife? It's much neater than just grabbing it and stuffing it in your face.

Anything else I should get for you? I'm told peanut butter is something people in your condition enjoy.

You just don't know good food design.
I know you like burgers and fries, but you'll probably eat those with a fork and knife too. I'll be over, and we can talk about this. Face to face.

Fine, you better hurry up then.
